Deep Tissue Massage

Pressure is applied to muscles and tendon connections in such a way that the brain and muscle are encouraged
to ‘talk’ to each other, resetting patterns of movement and strength that may have gone awry. This process
enables your muscles to relax, spring back to their optimal length and rest more naturally. Throughout the
session we will work to keep levels of discomfort down, so there is only ‘good pain’ and you may be asked to
actively stretch the area being worked on. This style of massage is often combined with Myofascial Release Techniques.
