During your first session there will be an initial consultation. I will ask you about your massage needs, taking information about your medical history, relevant background to the problem, and try to gain some insight into your lifestyle, stress levels and emotional state. Every treatment is different and tailored to your needs at that moment in time.
You will be given privacy to dress and undress (to underwear) and settle on the couch, you will always be covered during the session to keep you warm and modest. Your comfort is fundamental to your enjoyment of the massage, so as we move through the session cushions and pads will be used to keep you as comfortable as possible.
I combine my various styles of massage, with breath work, body rocking and stretches to give you the treatment you need. A massage session is the perfect way to give your mind and body room to breathe and relax. You may find that your tensions are removed and this can lead to greater clarity of thought, better sleep and an increased sense of well being. Quite often clients report that stressful situations are much easier to deal with after a massage.

If you are unable to make a booked appointment please advise by calling 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, regrettably, I will have to charge you 50% of your treatment cost.
